The regular administration of antibiotics is a public concern due to the prejudices large population groups and high frequency with which antimicrobial products are prescribed. current study aimed evaluate in vitro effect new extract from Boletus edulis (BEE) on human microbiota. One disadvantages this extensive use disruption microbiota, leading potential negative health consequences. evaluation BEE consisted determining its cytotoxicity, influence concentration four types cytokines (IL-6, IL-10, IL-1β, TNFα), capacity modulate microbiota after administering antibiotics. latter was assessed by microbiome analysis short-chain fatty acid synthesis (SCFAs). Simultaneously, content total polyphenols, antioxidant capacity, compositional (individual polyphenols composition) were determined. results showed that modulates microbial pattern reduces inflammatory progression. data demonstrated properties correlated increase synthesizing some biomarkers, such as SCFAs, mitigated antibiotic-induced dysbiosis without using probiotic products.
